ENGLISH.- And finally,after a quite long period of reruns,next Monday May 12th will premiere the 4th Season of Reacción (as some of you out there already know,that's the infotainment micro-radio show that I write scripts for).
The show airs,as usual,via Reactor —on the 105.7 of Mexico City's FM,with a cybercast on real time.Reacción airs at 11:30 am,with a repetition on the same day at 3:30 pm (Central Time;few minutes earlier or few minutes later depending of the mood and punctuality of the radio operator currently on the control console).5 micro-episodes,from Monday through Friday,with a brand new topic each week.The show is in Spanish,I'm afraid.

As an small advance,these will be the first 5 topics:
1) Chaos Theory (topic begins on Monday May 12th)
2) Mayan Civilization (May 19th)
3) Coffee (May 26th)
4) New Age (June 2nd)
5) Memetics (June 9th)

Ah,and by the way,previous episodes are available as a podcast.

ESPAÑOL.- Y pues finalmente,tras un periodo un poco largo de repeticiones,el próximo lunes 12 de Mayo se estrenará la 4ª Temporada de Reacción (que como muchos ya sabrán,es el micro-show radiofónico semanal de infoentretenimiento que tengo a bien guionizar).
El programa se transmite,como ya es costumbre,por Reactor —en el 105.7 de la FM chilanga,con cybercast en tiempo real.Reacción se transmite a las 11:30 am,con una repetición el mismo día a las 3:30 pm (hora del centro;minutos más,minutos menos según el humor y la puntualidad del operador en turno en la consola).5 micro-episodios,de lunes a viernes,con un tema distinto cada semana.

A modo de adelanto,éstos serán los primeros 5 temas:
1) Teoría del caos (tema inicia el lunes 12 de Mayo)
2) Civilización Maya (19 de Mayo)

ENGLISH.- Some of you already know and some of you don't,but I have this part-time project known as El Taller Secuencial (The Sequential Workshop).It's about collecting links to online tutorials and resources for making comics —because there are many people out there that have talent but need a little orientation here and there.

ENGLISH.- Big Iron,the western online comic I draw for Pixelstrips.com (with scripts and colors by Kevin Volo),has been collected in a 56-page edition.It includes the 3 'seasons' of the strip originally published online,plus a brand new,exclusive six-page story as well as some behind the scenes stuff.Featuring a cover by Mike Norton (Jason and the Argobots, Black Canary, The All New Atom) and an introduction by Jimmy Palmiotti (Jonah Hex,Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters,Shanna the She-Devil).

The book (along with a couple of prints) is available for sale right now at the IndyPlanet website.

ESPAÑOL.- Big Iron,el comic western que tengo a bien dibujar para Pixelstrips.com (guionizado y coloreado por Kevin Volo),ha sido compilado en una edición de 56 páginas.Incluye las 3 'temporadas' de la tira originalmente publicada online,más una historia exclusiva y nuevecita de 6 páginas,además de materiales de detrás de escenas.Cuenta con una portada de Mike Norton (Jason and the Argobots,Black Canary,The All New Atom) y una introducción de Jimmy Palmiotti (Jonah Hex,Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters,Shanna the She-Devil).

ENGLISH.- This Friday and Saturday (12-13 October),SPX will be held at the Marriott Besthesda North Hotel & Conference Center.And that means that certain comic book about a girl and a scarecrow,will debut its second issue.That's right:Fatalysia #2 (script by Liam Kemp,letters and edition design by Chris Tabor,cover by Myke Amend and guest art by Chad Thomas and Maritza Campos —ah,and interior art by me,you know).

If you're in the area,don't be shy and drop by at the Fatalysia 1/2 table on the show.Liam will be there in person.

Can't atend the show you say? Don't worry! The Fatalysia website has just had had a big update in almost all its contents.Lots of new art,a preview of the new issue and free icons so you can still have some of the fun.

ENGLISH.- Since now this week Young American Comics (YAC) has published its most new anthology project,small town/BIG CITY.The book is about stories in towns and cities (duh...),and I participate with a tale in Mexico City —an urban fairy tale about a little boy and some magic rats (kind of).

If you're in the zone,you can get a copy of the volume at YAC's table on Wizard World Chicago.Or if you can't be there,you can ask your local retailer or buy it directly at the online shop.

ESPAÑOL.- Desde ya esta semana,Young American Comics (YAC) ha lanzado al público su más nuevo proyecto de antología,small town/BIG CITY.El libro trata de historias en pueblos y ciudades,y yo tuve a bien participar con un cuento ambientado en Chilangotepec —un cuento de hadas moderno sobre un niño y unas ratas mágicas (o algo por el estilo).

Si andan por el rumbo,podrán obtener una copia del tomo en la mesa de YAC en la Wizard World Chicago.O si no,pueden irlo solicitando con su distribuidor local de comics,o comprarlo directo en la tienda online.

Thing is,that next Monday 7th May will premiere the new season of Reacción,this weekly radio documentary/infotainment show that is,like,written by me.

The show is 5 micro-episodes long,aired on the 105.7 FM,here in Mexico City,from Monday through Friday at 11:30 am (central time) with reruns the very same day at 3:30 pm (some minutes earlier,some minutes later,it actually depends of the mood of the programmer and the operator at the station).

For this season,there will be also some reruns of all the week's episodes on Saturdays at 2:00 pm.
